This is our current list of available pets looking for homes.

Seeking Volunteers

Now is our chance to rescue cats/dogs from life on the streets and put these delightful little furry bundles into safe loving homes. That’s where you come in! There are three ways you can help:
  • ADOPT! Nothing beats watching a pair of little kittens wrestle ferociously with each other or chase each other across the back of your couch. Or go a little bit older and adopt a pair of teenagers, kittens about 5-9 months old who show more personality and bond even stronger with their special human friends. And of course we can’t forget the young mothers and fathers of all these kittens as well as the seasoned older cats who may have been thrown out of their comfy homes and forced to adapt to life on the street. What they all have in common is an innate ability to turn a cold apartment into a warm, welcoming home.

  • FOSTER! If you love cats but know this is just not the right time for you to adopt, try fostering. You get the joy of having feline companionship without the responsibility that adoption brings with it. Whether you use your fostering time as a trial period to see if having a cat is for you or whether you become a “serial fosterer,” caring for your cats until they find permanent homes then taking in a few more, you will be doing a WONDERFUL THING! The more cats we can place in foster homes until they are adopted, the more we can take in off the streets or out of other bad situations.

  • VOLUNTEER! We need help every week setting up and managing our adoption events at PetCo

PET OF THE WEEK:

Evita

Evita, a gorgeous cat with a grey pattern on her head reminiscent of a crown because she is a queen.  She is a large cat and is likely about 2-3 years old. Evita was unfortunately left abandoned in a hallway here in NYC. As she is queen-like she would like to be the only cat in a home, and a home without children for now as she does bite on occasion. She is spayed, vaccinated, and tested.  To meet Evita in person contact us now via eMail or phone, you'll love this lady.
